World-Renowned Drummer Shoji Hano: Solo Performance "Doku-da"
Shoji Hano explores a unique percussion art form, integrating the rhythms of "Kokura Gion Daiko," which he has performed since age four, with the philosophy of the martial art "Shintaido." His career includes collaborations with international icons such as Kaoru Abe, Toshinori Kondo, Tetsu Yamauchi, and Peter Brötzmann.

He cuts through the atmosphere and reconstructs it with a single drum set.
